Strawberry Pie

Directions

Spread softened cream cheese into bottom of pie shell. Place half of washed and halved strawberries into pie shell. Mash and strain remaining strawberries until juice is well extracted. Bring juice to a boil and add mixture of sugar and corn starch. Cook slowly, stirring constantly until mixture reaches boiling point. Cool thoroughly and pour over uncooked strawberries in pie shell. Place in refrigerator until set. Top with whipped cream.
