Directions
Cream shortening and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Blend well. Combine soda and sour cream. Add alternately with flour. Stir in rhubarb and nuts. Sprinkle with topping mix, recipe below. Bake in greased 9×13 pan at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

- 1/2 Cup butter
- 2 Eggs

- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
- 2 Cups sifted flour
- 1/2 Cup chopped nuts
- 1½ Cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
- 1 Cup thick sour cream
- 1½ Cups Rhubarb - cut into ¼ inch pieces
