Directions
Place cabbage, carrots and ham into salted water, enough water to almost cover. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer. Cook for 1½ to 2 hours. Add potatoes within the last 45 minutes.

- 2 Heads of cabbage, cut into quarters
- 1 Package carrots-cut lengthwise into 2-inch strips
- 8 Medium red potatoes, peeled and quartered
- Ham, cooked and cut into bite- size chunks
