Directions
Melt chocolate chips and stir in pecans. Mix butter, sugar, salt and vanilla until creamy. Gradually blend in flour. Add chocolate mixture to flour mixture and stir with a fork just enough to revel the chocolate into white mixture. Drop by the teaspoonful onto ungreased pan. Flatten to 1/4 inch with the bottom of glass that is greased and dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes. Remove from pan when cool.

- 2/3 Cup sugar
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
