Directions
Parboil spareribs: Put the ribs in a large stockpot and fill with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 1⁄2 hour. Pour off water. Place ribs in shallow baking dish.
Make sauce: Combine all ingredients and stir well in saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally. Pour sauce over ribs. Bake in 350-degree oven for 1½ to 2 hours or until fork tender. Be sure to turn ribs and baste with sauce several times while baking. Finger-licking good!

- 5 to 6 Pounds of spareribs, cut into pieces
- Sauce
- 1 Large onion, chopped
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar
- 4 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 Teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 Cup catsup
- 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 Cup water
- 1/2 Cup celery, finely cut
- 1 Teaspoon paprika
- 1 Large can tomato sauce
