Directions
Mix all ingredients in order. Pour into a greased and floured 9×5-inch loaf pan or use 2 small loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes. If using small loaf pans, cooking time will be shorter. (If toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, loaves are done.) Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Turn out on a wire rack to finish cooling. Freezes well. Tip: This is almost a dessert. The small loaves make lovely house gifts.
