Directions
Cook sugar, cornstarch, salt, water and corn syrup in saucepan. Let mixture boil a minute or two or until clear. Remove from heat and add dry gelatin (add a few drops of food coloring, if desired). Cool slightly and blend with fruit. Pour into baked pie shell and refrigerate. Serve chilled.
Ingredients
- 1 9-Inch baked pie shell (See pie shell recipe below)
- 1 Quart fresh fruit - peaches, strawberries, raspberries or any fruit you may choose.
- 1⁄2 Package gelatin - flavored to complement fruit.
- 1 Cup sugar
- 3 Tablespoons corn starch
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Cup water
- 2 Tablespoons light corn syrup
