Directions

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Stir sifted flour and salt together. Blend flour into butter mixture. Mix in nuts. Roll dough into 1- inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes until set but not brown. While still warm, roll into powdered sugar. Cool and roll in sugar again.
